At the recommendation of the CDC and American Optometric Association, Carolina Vision Care will suspend all routine eye care starting March 23rd in order to slow the transmission of COVID-19 in our community.
Please be assured that we are still available to address all urgent and emergent ocular health consults from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm daily at our Arlington Boulevard location. We are also able to order contact lenses and will offer curbside delivery to your vehicle for contact lens and glasses pickup and payment.
What does this mean?...
Beginning March 23 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, we are available to:
- Order contact lenses
- Repair broken glasses
- Fill medical prescriptions/send medication refills electronically to any pharmacy
- In the event of urgent/emergent health and vision issues, patients can be seen face-to-face if the doctor deems necessary. Otherwise, under newly passed government legislation, we are able to see patients for consultations via video conferencing.
This decision to temporarily close is not taken lightly as a medical office and small business. However, the well being of our patients and staff remains our top priority during this pandemic. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding during this time of crisis. We hope that this pandemic passes soon and that everyone will remain safe and in good health.
